More About NLC NLC has 48 chapters across the country that have trained over 6,000 Fellows through its Institute program. The Institute curriculum trains Fellows in the skills needed to run for public office, start a non-profit, or launch a business. NLC's New York City chapter was founded in 2006, and has hundreds of alumni working in various sectors across the city.
