Partner with the Children's Museum of the Arts

CMA is a firm believer in arts education. To help ensure that children across New York City have access to it, CMA has partnered with NYC Department of Education (DOE) to offer arts programs in schools. Professional teaching artists help these schools integrate arts and media projects into their curriculums. CMA also offers curricula guides about a variety of topics available to all parents and educators.

CMA Programs

While the bulk of programs offered by CMA are for children, they also offer professional development and team building workshops for adults. The professional development program is specifically for educators, parents and caregivers who are interested in learning how to teach children about the arts. Offered in hands-on inquiry-based learning format, participants will feel equipped to integrate art into the lives of children of all ages and skill levels.

The team building program was created for corporate groups looking to foster problem solving skills, creative abilities, and productivity among their employees. CMA teaching artists provide the space, materials and expertise to bring teams together through art.
