The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre's AileyCamp

Alvin Ailey, Best known for its breathtaking productions performed by some of the most talented dancers in the country. What most people don't know is that they offer several programs for the community, including AileyCamp. AileyCamp is unlike other summer camps because it not only gives underserved youth a free opportunity to learn the art of dance, but also to attend workshops in team building, creative writing and goal-setting.

Alvin Ailey Memberships

Want to get more involved with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre? Check out one of their membership opportunities. Alvin Ailey Extension Class Schedule

You may not be an Ailey dancer, but that doesn't mean you can't learn how to dance like one. From hip-hop to ballet, the Ailey Extension offers classes 7 days a week that are open to the public.

Beginner, intermediate and advanced level dancers are all welcome to attend a class. If you're less concerned about learning technique, try out one of their fun workout classes like Zumba Fitness, Power Ashtanga Yoga or the Kukuwa African Dance Workout.
